At the core of every individual’s life is a need for relationships—with God and with God’s people. Our Adult Ministries are designed to help strengthen these relationships.

Each week during the Sunday School hour the adults at Faith spend time fellowshipping around God’s Word. This provides opportunity to make new friends, deepen existing friendships and strengthen one’s faith. Classes are arranged in a variety of formats to insure that everyone is able to find a place of comfort. There are co-ed classes for couples as well as classes geared specifically for women and for men. In each of these settings, the study of God’s Word is paramount.

Throughout the year there are also additional discipleship and fellowship opportunities such as Ladies’ and Men’s Bible Studies, class trips, and service opportunities.

Our faithKIDS Children’s ministry is SO MUCH FUN!

Each Sunday morning at 9:45 there are age-graded Sunday School classes for all children. These classes are interactive and often include a craft which they can take home and use to share what they are learning. During the 11 AM Service children (K through 5th Grade) are brought into the sanctuary for the congregational singing and fellowship time. Before the sermon is given, they are dismissed to their own specific Worship KidStyle time.

On Sunday Evenings Children have “Kid’s Own Worship time” –an age appropriate time of fellowship and Bible time.

TeamKID is our Wednesday evenings high-impact worship time for children K-5th grade. It’s a special time just for kids that meets each Wednesday evening during the 6:30 Bible Study.

During all of our services Nursery care is also provided. It is staffed by loving members of our church in a safe and age-specific room.

The highlight of our children’s ministry is our annual summer Vacation Bible School which normally meets the second week of July. Specific dates and information is made available on our website before hand.

Faith Baptist Church also offers before school care as well as after school care. Information about each of these services may be obtained by calling 704-209-1136 or the church office at 704-279-3629.

Music is essential to the praise and worship of our Lord. Understanding that the tastes and styles of music vary greatly among people, here at Faith we desire to blend different styles and genres of music.

The adult sanctuary choir meets each week after the Wednesday evening Bible study for practice. They are always looking for new voices. In addition to the sanctuary choir special musical offerings are made by soloists, duets, etc. Each is presented with the idea of exalting the Lord in order for others to be drawn to Him.

Another aspect of the music program at Faith is Reflections of Grace. Through different means they interpret songs to help communicate the truth of God’s Word.

The Senior Adults of Faith Baptist Church are a very lively group. They typically meet once a month during the morning for a time of sharing and fellowship. This fellowship time has included all sorts of interesting presentations from pictures from a Holy Land trip, a time of singing, to a world champion balloon tying artist sharing his expertise.

Throughout the year, the seniors participate in day trips. These trips have included visits to historic homes, viewing Christmas lights and fall leaves, visiting apple orchards, and going to plays. These trips are always spiced with laughter and wonderful fellowship.

Our 6-12 Grade Student Ministry exists to “turn everyone we touch into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ”. We believe that discipleship and evangelism go hand in hand. We are committed to reaching students, to connect them with other Christians, to help them grow in their faith, and to challenge them to serve others and honor God with their life.

Our Students have their own chapel where they meet. They typically meet for Sunday School, Sunday Evening Services as well as Wednesday Evening Bible Studies. They also meet throughout the year for events such as Summer Camp and Winter Retreats. One of the more recent events that they have began to participate in is our church-wide FaithWorks ministry. FaithWorks is a local “missions” opportunity which serves our community with the desire to build connections and share the Gospel.
